When Drusilla was a mortal she was very religious. She saw psychic visions and felt unholy becasue of them. One day when she was at confession, she was telling whom she though was a priest, about her psychich visions. Ofcourse, it wasn't really the priest. It was the evil Angelus. She then became Angelus' obsession. He made her crazy and then when she was about to take her Holy vows he made her a vampire.Drusilla is insane. She loves to play with her dolls and sing songs. She was made weak by a mob in Prague and that is why Spike took her to Sunnydale. He restored her strength, by attempting to draining the blood of her sire (Angel). Naturally Buffy showed up and stopped it before Angel was dead. However, Drusilla was already fully restored.
When Angelus returned, Drusilla was ecstatic that her "daddy" was back. She sort of neglected Spike because of it and this made Spike very jealous.
Drusilla, although insane, is very dangerous, afterall she did "bag a slayer" (she killed Kendra).
Apparently that when Spike took her out of the country, away from her "daddy" she wasn't too pleased and "broke up" with Spike.
